Pablo Aslan recent album...Buenos Aires Tango Standards
Aslan’s standard of tango is that it be braided with jazz. Pablo Alsan features various artists on these tracks while playing the bass, and at times a tango rhythm. From a broad perspective, the jazz elements cast a large shadow over tango rhythms. You may have to be an expert at the dance of tango or listen to this album a few times to find the rhythmical movement here.
Putumayo groovily presents, “A New Groove”
Putumayo people grabbed up d.j.s , producers, and musicians who started their work out of bedrooms and spread their music through digital radio, internet, & around the world. Some artists featured are already swimming their way into WFHB’s pond like, Alice Russell (Boozoo Bajou’s Juke Joint II), and the Cat Empire. None-the-less, here we have a groovy schemer of sounds.
I may suggest these tracks, yet I always encourage you to find your own groove!(1,2,5,6, or 10).
